Karen's style is intimate, sensitive, unobtrusive, artistic. She is at the forefront of the digital revolution, offering high-quality digital capture, online posting, images on CD, and digitally designed coffee-table albums. Negatives are always yours to keep, at no extra charge.
The mission of Karenscape is to do away with the stale and outdated conventions of wedding photography and shoot your day in a way that matches the sensibility of today’s brides: hip, modern, spontaneous, and artistic.
I alone will create a personal and unique visual document of your wedding day the way you really lived it: joy, excitement, love, magic, romance, silliness, celebration. The array of emotions a bride and groom experience on their special day can’t ever be expressed in a posed picture. They occur in a moment, fleeting. I will capture those moments as a photojournalist and an artist. I’ll offer you exciting new ways to present and preserve your memories and your history.
I am a published editorial and fine art photographer, trained at the New School and The Maine Photographic Workshops. I have shot for various publications, including The New York Times, Nerve Magazine, Salon, and Elegant Bride.
I split my time between the New York tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) and Miami and I’m available for travel anywhere else upon request. I look forward to the opportunity to photograph your special day! |
